Davis Lake Fishing Report

Bass fishing has been excellent around the lava flow, with two anglers reporting incredible luck. A drift boat launched on the far side of the lake or a paddleboard is recommended for access.

Fishing was productive with multiple trout and jumbo perch to hand, plus one quality largemouth bass caught on a topwater blowup. Water levels have dropped significantly in recent years, which has reduced the largemouth bass population considerably.

Anglers targeting bass had good success over the past week, primarily on small olive poppers and small streamers. Best action was around weed beds in open water and along grass edges on the east side.
