The Sauk has been fishing pretty well for bull trout over the last several weeks alongside the Skagit. Stripping or erratic retrieves are more effective than pure swinging given summer metabolisms.

The Sauk is currently in fishable shape for rainbow and bull trout. Visibility is expected to degrade as hot days persist and glacial melt increases from the Suiattle and Whitechuck Rivers.
